Survival of Cancer Patients in Metropolitan France, 1989–2018 - Marginal Zone Lymphoma

In France in 2018, the estimated number of new cases of marginal zone lymphoma was 2,790, including 1,457 cases in men and 1,333 in women. Key points: Favorable prognosis with a standardized net survival rate of 96% at 1 year and 88% at 5 years among individuals diagnosed between 2010 and 2015; Decrease in net survival with age after age 60; Trend toward improved 5-year net survival between 2005 and 2015 among older adults: +6 percentage points among those aged 80 and older.
