61st Standing Committee on Franco-Quebec Cooperation: Strengthening Expertise and Strategies in Health Promotion and Education: Analysis of Quebec Practices Aimed at Promoting and Advocating, Among Decision-Makers and Funders, Projects to Develop Self-Esteem and Psychosocial Skills. Summary 2007–2008.
This mission report presents an analysis of Quebec’s practices in implementing projects aimed at developing self-esteem and psychosocial skills. In particular, it examines the processes through which decision-makers and funders in Quebec support these projects; it also addresses the issue of evaluating these programs and transferring expertise. One of the objectives was to identify actions that could be adapted to the French context. This exchange of expertise with academics, researchers, and field professionals took place over a six-week period.
