Emotional CPS Worksheet: Identifying Your Emotions (E1.2)

This sheet focuses on the first general emotional psychosocial skill (PSS) and provides an overview of a specific emotional psychosocial skill: Identifying one’s emotions (E1.2). Identifying one’s emotions refers to the ability to perceive and appropriately name one’s emotions and requires the development of two main psychological skills: Skill 1: Perceiving the emotional experience within oneself; Skill 2: Naming the perceived emotion(s). This specific skill can be applied during PSK activities. Thus, following a theoretical section, practical examples are presented for adults, adolescents, and children.
