When will universities finally have proper health services?

University health services, staffed by health and social services professionals, are tasked with facilitating access to care and promoting preventive health measures among students. In practice, these services vary greatly from one university to another and are under-resourced in terms of both material and human resources. Yet, when they have the resources to operate effectively, they prove their worth. A critical assessment of the current situation and constructive proposals formulated by the health service at the University of Clermont-Ferrand.
