Survey of non-infectious disease clusters, France, 1997–2002.

Following investigations conducted by the Environmental Health Department of the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS) regarding reports of spatio-temporal clusters of non-infectious diseases, it was decided to draft an investigation guide. To assess the extent of the phenomenon in France, a survey aimed at identifying and describing reports of clusters was conducted in 2003. The study period covered a five-year span (1997–2002).
