Salon-de-Provence: Taking Action on the Environment and School Meal Programs.

The city of Salon-de-Provence is implementing a comprehensive food policy to improve the quality and accessibility of its school cafeterias: facilities and services tailored to children, partial use of organic and locally sourced products, menus developed by dietitians, and affordability with meal prices calculated as accurately as possible based on family income, etc. As a first result, cafeteria attendance has risen from 50% to 70% between 2010 and today.
