Can eating disorders in teenage girls be prevented? The Psychiatry and Addiction Department at Saint-Étienne University Hospital provides day-to-day care for patients with anorexia. For the department, prevention means, above all, listening, establishing a network of professionals, and highlighting the difficulty teenage girls face in being themselves—precisely because of their low self-esteem.
