Isolated and faced with the distress of a loved one struggling with a mental illness, families and caregivers often find themselves in dire straits. The Prospect-famille program, led by Unafam, has been offering mutual support workshops in various regions of France since 2005. Last year, facilitators organized fifty such workshops for five hundred people. The goal was to help them let go of feelings of guilt, rebuild their self-esteem, and work together to find solutions.
