Prevention and Health Promotion: Generating Evidence That Is Useful in Practice

Prevention and health promotion are part of an ecological approach that involves developing complex interventions with multiple effects, requiring specific evaluation methods. These methods raise important methodological questions, particularly regarding the limitations of using experimental methodological paradigms designed for clinical evaluation.
