The mutual support group: a place for sharing practices and ideas. [Interview]

Interview with Marie-France Casellas-Ménière, coordinator of the Artame Gallery mutual support group, Paris, 20th arrondissement. In a Paris neighborhood, a mutual support group (Gem) brings together artists struggling with mental health issues, who come together through creative work. Artame Gallery is an open space that fosters connections and sometimes restores self-esteem. It is “a place for exchanging practices and ideas,” sums up one of the artist members; another sees it as an opportunity to learn to pay more attention to others.
