The Lebanese experience with a youth clinic.

After being ravaged by war for fifteen years (1975–1990), Lebanon is struggling to establish healthcare infrastructure and, even more so, to promote health. In this difficult context, however, a private university in Beirut is leading the way by opening a clinic for 12- to 22-year-olds, offering a welcoming environment and multidisciplinary medical and psychological care. Testimony from Béatrice Khater, a physician involved in this initiative.
