Issues and the Meaning of Social Participation in Policies for Older Adults
A comprehensive and positive policy approach to aging requires two prerequisites: first, taking into account the diversity of individual experiences—and thus life courses—and second, recognizing the influence of socioeconomic determinants, which shape the trajectories of aging.
