The Incorporation of Beliefs into North American Health Education Models.

Taking into account the underlying models of religious beliefs can lead to a better understanding of people’s health behaviors and help in working with them to change those behaviors. This is one of the findings of sociologist Bernard Goudet, who analyzed how beliefs are incorporated into health education in the United States. In American society, religious beliefs are indeed used to influence behavior.
