EVS Survey: The Impact of Violence on People’s Health.

The "Life Events and Health" survey is the first of its kind to examine the circumstances surrounding acts of violence and their impact on people's health in France. Violence affects relatively few people, but its intersection with health issues and, more broadly, living conditions, affects one-third of French people aged 18 to 75. Beyond their impact on people’s physical health, these acts of violence can affect their mental and social well-being by reducing their ability to carry out everyday activities: work, raising children, etc.
