Presentation of the planned reforms to the operations of the Ministry of the Environment and its agencies, as part of the environmental plan adopted in 1990. An agency combining the resources of the AQA, the ANRED, and the AFME to implement the Ministry’s policies on the ground, along with two institutes—one industrial and commercial in nature, the other responsible for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of government policy in this area—will be created for this purpose, as well as regional environmental directorates.
