Creating an Environment Conducive to the Health of Older Adults: A Compelling Study in Canada.

Can the environment—urban planning, infrastructure, and services—be conducive to the health of older adults? This approach, known as “ecological” because it takes the environment into account rather than just individual behaviors, demonstrates that if we want to improve the quality of life for older adults—and thus their health—we need to rethink the entire architecture of the neighborhood and its amenities.
