To better transfer scientific knowledge to those working on the front lines, Canadian authorities have established six public health information centers designed for professionals, practitioners, and front-line decision-makers. The centers provide information on the following topics: Indigenous health, environmental health, infectious diseases, health determinants, public policy, and methods and tools. What sets them apart is that they operate solely in response to specific requests from users. Users have the right to critique the expertise provided by the centers.
