"Access to group childcare is associated with fewer relationship difficulties later on" [Interview].

A study conducted in France involving 1,428 mothers and children concluded that access to group childcare between the ages of 0 and 3 is associated with approximately three times fewer emotional or relational difficulties in children later in life, that is, after the age of 3. A child who attends group childcare for at least one year is subsequently less anxious at school, experiences fewer peer relationship problems, and exhibits more favorable prosocial behavior (empathy, sharing).
