Cervical cancer is a common form of cancer. It ranks second among cancers affecting women worldwide; its incidence varies greatly from one country to another depending on risk factors as well as the availability of organized screening programs. In France, individual screening has become widespread, and organized screening has been implemented in four departments (Bas-Rhin, Doubs, Isère, and Martinique). As part of the General Directorate of Health’s cancer control plan, there are plans to implement a systematic cervical cancer screening program nationwide. The InVS is responsible for evaluating the epidemiological monitoring of screening programs at the national level. Prior to this implementation, an inventory of available data was conducted to optimize the collection of data necessary for the evaluation. This article presents the inventory of data on reimbursed Pap smear procedures from the three main health insurance schemes: the general scheme, the agricultural scheme, and the health insurance scheme for self-employed professionals.
