The regional incidence rate, at 121 per 100,000 inhabitants, continues to decline (-12%). This decline is more pronounced in Southern Corsica (-23%) than in Northern Corsica (-3%). The testing rate is stable compared to the previous week (at 4,119 per 100,000 inhabitants, or -0%). The regional positivity rate, at 2.9%, is also decreasing (-0.6 percentage points) compared to the previous week.

The number of active hospitalizations across all departments is decreasing at the regional level (73 hospitalizations on May 2 vs. 82 on April 25). The number of people hospitalized in intensive care or intensive/continuous care is decreasing slightly (12 hospitalizations on May 2 vs. 14 on April 25).
