Flu

  • Virological surveillance of influenza in hospitals showed stable circulation of influenza viruses in Week 46 (19 vs. N=20 in Week 45, predominantly type A(H1N1)

Bronchiolitis

  • Epidemic phase

  • Virological surveillance of Respiratory Syncytial Virus in the hospital showed stability between Season 45 (15) and Season 46 (13). The onset of the bronchiolitis epidemic was early, as the usual seasonality for bronchiolitis typically occurs from January to April
