Key Points

Bronchiolitis: The outbreak began in week 2015-47 in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The increase in cases was 36% between weeks 2015-47 and 48 (from 47 to 64 cases), with activity being roughly the same as in the previous season. In France, the increase in visits to emergency departments and SOS Médecins for bronchiolitis continues, with activity higher than in previous years at this time of year.

Bronchitis: no particular trend in the Languedoc-Roussillon region; a trend toward increased use of SOS Médecins services in France, but not in emergency departments.

Pneumonia: low use of emergency departments, both regionally and in France.

Gastroenteritis: very low activity in the Languedoc-Roussillon region; low activity in emergency departments across France, while SOS Médecins activity related to gastroenteritis is gradually increasing.
