Key Points
Continued increase in vaccination uptake among infants (born in 2021) subject to the expanded vaccination mandate:
86.7% received a first dose of the meningococcal C vaccine (+3.7 percentage points compared to 2019)
91.2% received the booster dose of the meningococcal C vaccine (+5.1 percentage points compared to 2019)
However, the rate of increase has stabilized for other vaccines:
90.9% received a third dose of the hexavalent vaccine (+1.5 percentage points compared to 2019)
91.3% received a third dose of the pneumococcal vaccine (+0.7 percentage points compared to 2019)
92.3% received a first dose of the MMR vaccine (+1.2 percentage points compared to 2018)
Increase in vaccination coverage among children born before the law took effect:
+6.1 percentage points for the first dose of the HPV vaccine among 15-year-old girls born in 2006 (43%) compared to girls born in 2005 (37%)
Increase in catch-up vaccination coverage against meningococcal C across all age groups
Increase in influenza vaccination coverage compared to the 2019–2020 season:
+4.7 percentage points among people aged 65 and older
