COVID-19

  • Heightened vigilance regarding a potential resurgence of the epidemic given the very high level of SARS-CoV-2 circulation in the region

  • Significant increase in incidence in the Nord department

  • Increased incidence rates among people aged 30–39 and children aged 3–10

  • In hospitals, a decrease in the number of new hospitalizations and deaths due to COVID-19

  • Increase in the number of new admissions to critical care units (ages 60–79)

Bronchiolitis

  • Non-epidemic phase, stable activity in hospitals, at a moderate level

Flu-like illnesses

  • Activity remains pre-epidemic

  • Increased use of healthcare services for influenza-like illnesses in hospitals and outpatient settings

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Activity level stable in emergency departments, at a high level, particularly among children under 5 years of age. Significant community circulation of rotavirus

All-cause mortality

  • Since week 48 of 2021, excess mortality from all causes has been observed among those aged 65 and older
