Overall Activity Trends: Over the past week, overall activity at the associations has remained stable across all age groups, with the exception of children under 5, for whom a 7% increase in activity was observed (+684 visits). The seasonal trends and patient numbers (53,576 visits across all age groups) are comparable to those of 2012 and 2013 during this time of year.

Trends in Major ConditionsFor all age groups, the most frequently seen conditions in consultations are ENT conditions, bronchitis, and gastroenteritis, as well as sciatic pain in adults.

Trends in seasonal indicators Following an increase in consultations for gastroenteritis during the last week of September, numbers stabilized over the past week (+4%, or +118 visits). With 3,257 consultations across all age groups, this indicator remains higher than the figures observed in the two previous years during this period. This trend is primarily noted in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Picardy, and Normandy regions. Among young children, visits for bronchiolitis and asthma increased by 37% and 18%, respectively. The numbers are in line with those observed in previous years. Visits for bronchitis are also on the rise among children under 5 years of age (+18%, or +90 visits) and adults (+10%, or +140 visits), while remaining within the expected range for this time of year (2,357 weekly visits). Despite still-low numbers, visits for influenza/flu-like illness are rising sharply among children aged 5–14 and adults under 75 and are observed in most regions. The numbers are consistent with those observed in 2012 and 2013 during this time of year (314 weekly visits).Consultations for fever alone have increased by 15% (+109 visits) across all age groups. The numbers remain lower than those of the two previous years during this period. Visits for pneumonia are also rising across all age groups (+20%), with moderate numbers in line with expected levels.
