Activity at SOS Médecins clinics remains stable across all age groups both nationally and regionally. This trend is similar to that seen in 2012 and 2011. There has been a decline in activity among children under 5 and adults over 75, down 15% (1,700 cases) and 14% (950 cases), respectively.
Seasonal indicators:
The gastroenteritis indicator is on the rise across all age groups (+14%, +335 cases), with numbers comparable to 2011 and 2012. This trend is particularly evident among those aged 5–14 (+28%, +112 cases) and those aged 15–74 (+14%, +200 cases). Calls to SOS Médecins for asthma attacks are down across all age groups (-14%, -77 cases), with numbers comparable to 2012. Flu diagnoses are stable across all age groups; activity related to this indicator remains low and comparable to 2011 and 2012. Indicators for pneumonia and bronchitis are down across all age groups, at levels comparable to 2012. Among children under 2 years of age, diagnoses of bronchiolitis are down (-17%, -33 cases), at a level lower than in 2011 and 2012. Over the past week, the main conditions typically observed have decreased across all age groups. The most commonly reported diagnoses remain nasopharyngitis (3,066 cases), gastroenteritis (2,759 cases), and lower respiratory tract infections (2,598 cases).
