Over the past week, activity at SOS Médecins clinics has declined across all age groups, both nationally and regionally (-17%, -11,471 consultations). This level of activity is comparable to that of 2013 for the same period.

Main diagnoses by age group: Over the past week, among the main conditions reported in children under 15, the following were noted: an increase in gastroenteritis, a decrease in ENT infections (nasopharyngitis, tonsillitis, otitis, laryngitis), and respiratory conditions (acute respiratory infection, bronchitis). Among adults aged 15 and older, ENT infections (nasopharyngitis, tonsillitis), respiratory infections (bronchitis, acute respiratory infection, influenza), and gastroenteritis are on the decline.

Trends in seasonal indicators: Over the past week, seasonal indicators have remained stable or declined across all age groups, at levels lower than or comparable to 2013. The gastroenteritis indicator has remained stable across all age groups during this period. Activity related to this indicator is lower than in 2013. Among those under 15, there was a 19% increase (+328 cases); among those over 15, diagnoses decreased by 15% (-621 cases). The influenza/influenza-like illness indicator is down across all age groups (-14%, -243 cases). Activity is significantly lower than in 2013 for the same period. However, an increase is observed among those aged 5–14 (+23%, +32 cases). Among children under 2 years of age, bronchiolitis is down (-57%, -305 cases). Activity is comparable to that of 2012 and 2013. The bronchitis indicator is down across all age groups and for the monitored age groups (-40%, -1,607 cases). Activity is comparable to that of 2013. Diagnoses of pneumonia are down across all age groups and for the monitored age groups (-29%, -193 cases). Activity is comparable to that of 2013. Diagnoses of asthma attacks are down across all age groups and for the monitored age groups (-29%, -223 cases).
