Trends in Overall Activity: Overall activity at SOS Médecins clinics remains stable across all age groups, with patient volumes (67,972 weekly visits) slightly higher than in previous years (2012 and 2013) during this time of year.

Trends in Major ConditionsAmong children under 2 years of age, the main conditions remain stable, except for viral syndromes, which are on the rise (49%). Among children aged 2 to 14, there is a notable increase in visits for influenza/flu-like illness (+54%), viral syndromes (+15%), and isolated fever (+18%). Among adults under 75, the most frequently observed conditions are stable except for influenza/influenza-like illness (+38%). Among adults over 75, indicators are generally on the rise, particularly bronchitis (+33%) and pneumonia (+23%).

Trends in Seasonal Indicators Among children under 2 years of age, the number of visits for bronchiolitis continued to rise over the past week, with a 12% increase (equivalent to 70 more visits). With 646 visits over the past week, the numbers are above the 2012 peak but below the 2013 peak. The number of visits is still rising in all regions except in the Île-de-France region, where the peak has passed. Consultations for influenza/influenza-like illness are rising sharply across all age groups (+44%, or +568 visits). The trend and case numbers (1,850 weekly visits) are very similar to the 2012–2013 season, both nationally and across all regions. Visits for bronchitis and pneumonia are up by 33% and 23%, respectively, among adults over 75 years of age and are increasing moderately in other age groups. The number of visits is higher than in 2012 and 2013, more notably for bronchitis, both nationally and regionally. Consultations for gastroenteritis are stable across all age groups, with trends similar to previous years and slightly higher numbers (5,029 weekly visits).Consultations for asthma are declining among people under 75 but rising among those over 75 (+45%) at low levels. However, the consultation rate remains significantly higher than in 2012 and 2013 during the same period, particularly in the Île-de-France, Nord, and Ouest regions.
