Key Points

Influenza and Flu-Like Illnesses

  • 10th week of the epidemic in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

  • Decreased activity at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments.

  • The proportion of hospitalizations following a visit to the emergency room for influenza or flu-like illness is decreasing, but remains high among people aged 65 and older.

Bronchiolitis

  • End of the epidemic in S06.

COVID-19

  • Low activity in hospital emergency departments and at SOS Médecins.

  • The level of SARS-CoV-2 circulation in wastewater continues to decline, reaching a very low level.

Pollen

  • The allergy risk associated with cypress pollen is high in the Alpes-Maritimes, Bouches-du-Rhône, Var, and Vaucluse departments and moderate in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Hautes-Alpes departments (source: RNSA).
