COVID-19

Increase or stability in epidemic monitoring indicators:

  • regional incidence rate on the rise;

  • regional testing rate on the rise;

  • Regional positivity rate stable;

  • Low COVID-19-related activity within the SOS Médecins association;

  • Low COVID-19-related activity in emergency departments;

  • Hospitalizations across all departments are decreasing;

  • no new clusters in S51.

The regional incidence rate, at 42 per 100,000 inhabitants, is increasing compared to the previous week. In Haute-Corse, this rate has risen above the alert threshold of 50 per 100,000 inhabitants. The testing rate continues to rise (5,815 per 100,000 inhabitants), amid the holiday season. The positivity rate (0.7%) is stable and remains below the 5% vigilance threshold.

At the same time, the number of people hospitalized across all departments continues to decline.

  • Bronchiolitis: stable trend.

  • Gastroenteritis: low activity.
