SOS Médecins: The four SOS Médecins associations in the region (Nîmes, Montpellier, Perpignan, and Toulouse) recorded 132 cases of suspected or confirmed COVID-19 (or 351 cases per 10,000 consultations), down from Week 49 (151 cases, 380 cases per 10,000 consultations)
Oscour® Network: Weekly COVID-19 activity in emergency departments decreased in week 50 compared to the previous week, with 584 suspected cases of COVID-19 (compared to 634 in week 49), or 188 per 10,000 consultations for the most recent period considered
The R value estimated from regional SI-DEP data through 12/17/2022 was 0.93 (0.92–0.94), statistically below 1 (slowing of viral circulation) and lower than the previous week (1.14)
Bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age
Oscour® Network: visits and hospitalizations for a diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age were decreasing compared to the previous week
SOS Médecins: Procedures for the diagnosis of bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age were decreasing compared to the previous week
Flu
Oscour® Network: In inpatient care, consultations for all ages with a diagnosis of influenza/influenza-like illness were sharply increasing compared to the previous week
SOS Médecins: Procedures for all ages for a diagnosis of influenza/influenza-like illness were sharply increasing compared to the previous week. In week 50-2022, 692 procedures for this diagnosis were recorded, representing 18.3% of the overall activity of the SOS Médecins associations (490 procedures in week 49-2022)
Sentinelles Network: The incidence rate of influenza-like illness cases seen in general practice was 322 per 100,000 [247; 397], an increase compared to the previous week (274 per 100,000)
Acute gastroenteritis
Low activity in private practice (SOS Médecins) and low in hospital settings (Oscour® network)
