COVID-19

• In Occitanie, according to data available as of August 18, 2022, virological indicators continued to decline in week 32 of 2022: positivity rate of 24.4% (-1.5 percentage points compared to week 31), incidence rate of 274 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (-27% compared to week 31), and testing rate of 1,123 per 100,000 inhabitants (-22% compared to week 31). This trend was also observed in most age groups, with the exception of those under 15, where the positivity rate remained stable.

• The effective reproduction number (Rt) estimated from regional SI-DEP data through August 13, 2022, was 0.69 (0.68–0.70), stable compared to the previous week (0.63).

• As of August 16, 2022, 244 cases had been confirmed in Occitanie.
