Key Points

• In Occitanie, from May 1 to August 20, 2024, 100 imported cases of dengue and 2 imported cases of chikungunya were identified. Four locally acquired cases of dengue were also identified: 1 in Hérault, 1 in Gard, and 2 in Pyrénées-Orientales (with possible transmission in Lozère).

• To limit the risk of local transmission, 127 entomological surveys and 105 vector control treatments were carried out in the vicinity of the cases.
