Chikungunya, Dengue, and Zika in Occitanie. Bulletin dated August 7, 2025.

In Occitanie, from May 1 to August 6, 2025, 73 imported cases of dengue, 90 imported cases of chikungunya, and 1 imported case of Zika were identified.
Eighteen locally transmitted cases of chikungunya were identified: 13 in Hérault (including 12 linked to exposure in the town of Castries) and 5 in Gard, with a new outbreak in Poulx. A locally transmitted case of dengue was recently identified in Lot.
To limit the risk of local transmission, 225 entomological surveys and 141 vector control treatments were carried out in the vicinity of the cases.
