Acute Respiratory Infections | Influenza and Flu-Like Illness

  • The Occitanie region was in week 08 of its 11th epidemic week. Indicators had been declining in both the community and hospitals since a peak in activity in week 04. However, indicator levels remained very high and, for the first week, were lower than the levels observed during the epidemic peaks of the two previous seasons.

Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea

  • In the Occitanie region, the incidence rate of acute diarrhea cases seen in general practice and visits to emergency care were decreasing in week 08 compared to week 07, but indicators were generally stable over the past 3 weeks. The trend in indicators was similar among adults and young children (under 5 years of age).
