Acute Gastroenteritis

  • Activity remains high overall, particularly among those under 15.

  • The number of emergency room visits is declining across all age groups, particularly among those over 15.

  • In private practice (SOS Médecins), the number of visits has decreased for those over 15 but is increasing among those under 15.

Flu

  • The pre-epidemic phase has persisted since week 2023-51.

  • After a decline during the school vacation period, indicators are stable (emergency room visits and hospitalizations following emergency room visits) or showing a slight increase (SOS Médecins, hospital virology laboratories).

  • The AH1N1 subtype is predominant among subtyped positive samples collected in hospitals.

Pneumonia

  • The number of emergency department visits for pneumonia among children under 15 is decreasing, as are outpatient visits (SOS Médecins). They remain at high levels.

  • The positivity rate for Mycoplasma pneumoniae in hospital specimens is stable.

Bronchiolitis

  • Normandy is still in the post-epidemic phase, but indicators continue to decline, confirming the waning of the epidemic wave in Normandy.

  • The positivity rate in hospital specimens is stable.

COVID-19

  • All indicators continue to decline (emergency room visits and procedures at SOS Médecins, testing).
