Key Points

COVID-19

  • In Week 50, the circulation of SARS-CoV-2 in the region began to decline. Virological indicators (calculated based on all tests) were decreasing. Indicators of pre-hospital care utilization were stable for SOS Médecins and increasing for emergency department visits. A decrease was also observed for hospital indicators, except for the number of patients admitted to general inpatient units, where an increase was observed.

Bronchiolitis

  • Decrease in indicators for emergency department visits and SOS Médecins consultations. Activity remained high, however.

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

  • A sharp increase in emergency department visits, virology cases, and SOS Médecins consultations.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Decrease in the number of SOS Médecins consultations and emergency department visits, with activity levels remaining low and similar to those of the 2021–2022 season.
