Acute respiratory infections (ARI)

  • Activity is on the rise, though at a lower level than in previous years during the same period in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins, and in line with previous seasons in private practice (Sentinelles-IQVIA network).

  • Increased circulation of influenza viruses compared to the previous week. RSV circulation continues to rise, while SARS-CoV-2 circulation remains low.

Bronchiolitis

  • Cases and activity for bronchiolitis are stable in emergency departments and on the rise at SOS Médecins.

  • The number of isolated RSV cases is on the rise this week.

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

  • Activity for influenza and influenza-like illnesses is increasing in emergency departments, at SOS Médecins, and in private practice.

  • The detection rate of the influenza virus is up compared to the previous week.

  • It’s time to get vaccinated.

COVID-19

  • Activity is low and stable in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins.
