Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

From late March (W2017-12) to late May (W2017-21), activity related to influenza-like illness remained low and stable throughout the country, although a slight increase was observed during the last two weeks of May (W2017-20 and 21).During this period, among the 98 samples analyzed at the IPG’s Influenza Virus National Reference Center (CNR) or at the CHAR virology laboratory, 4 tested positive for Influenza A virus, 1 for Influenza B virus, and 15 for RSV.
