Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

A resurgence of the epidemic has been observed since the last week of May. It has been accompanied by increased activity in the emergency department at Kourou Hospital and at the Cayenne medical clinic during the first half of June. This situation coincides with a higher detection rate of the A/H3N2 virus during the same period.
