Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

The flu epidemic, which began in the first week of March, continues throughout the country. The decrease in the number of clinically suggestive cases seen in private practice or at CDPSs, observed during the last week of June, remains to be confirmed.Emergency department activity, particularly at the CMCK, remains high. Furthermore, following the predominance of the Influenza B virus during the first four months of the year, the Influenza A/H3N2 virus appears to be circulating particularly widely during the month of June, especially in hospital settings.
