  • Increase in consultations for acute respiratory infections in private practice in week 13

  • Localized increase in activity for flu-like illness in week 12 in the CDPS, decrease in week 13

  • Stabilization of emergency department visits for flu-like illness, and low or even zero proportion of visits followed by hospitalizations

  • Low positivity rate in primary care

  • Circulating influenza viruses: A/H3N2 (predominant) and A/H1N1pdm09

  • No new severe cases admitted to intensive care

French Guiana has been in the post-epidemic phase of the flu since late March (week 2022-12). Over the past few weeks, a downward trend has been observed; if it continues, the end of the seasonal flu epidemic could be announced in the coming weeks.
