Situation Analysis

The epidemiological situation regarding influenza is characterized by an increase in all surveillance indicators, with values exceeding expected peaks during the last two weeks of January 2015. Martinique is therefore currently experiencing a new seasonal influenza outbreak.To limit the risk of transmission, wash your hands several times a day with soap or use a hand sanitizer, and when you sneeze or cough, cover your mouth and nose with your sleeve or a disposable tissue. If you have flu-like symptoms, call your primary care physician and contact 15 only in case of an emergency.
