Epidemiological Situation of Bronchiolitis in Martinique. Update as of October 19, 2012

Since early October (week 40 of 2012), the number of cases suggestive of bronchiolitis seen in private practice has exceeded the expected seasonal peak. This number has been estimated at 93 cases, more than twice the expected peak. This increase marks the onset of an epidemic phase of bronchiolitis in Martinique.
