Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

Conclusions for GuadeloupeBetween early July and mid-August 2015, arbovirus activity (dengue and chikungunya) in Guadeloupe remained very low, continuing the trend already observed during the previous two months. The level of indicators collected both in private practice and in hospitals is very low. It is well below the expected peak values for dengue. No outbreaks of dengue or chikungunya have been identified in the department in recent weeks.

Conclusions for Martinique Martinique continues to experience a particularly calm situation regarding the circulation of arboviruses (dengue and chikungunya). All epidemiological surveillance indicators are at very low levels, and no specific activity or outbreak with epidemic potential has been identified over the past six weeks in the various municipalities of the department.

Conclusions for Saint MartinDengueThe circulation of dengue viruses remains moderate in Saint Martin.

ChikungunyaThe weekly number of consultations for suspected chikungunya is at its lowest level in the past four months.

Conclusions for Saint Barthélemy: Arbovirus activity (dengue and chikungunya) in Saint Barthélemy remains very low, as no consultations for these diseases have been recorded in recent weeks.
