Summary

In week 44, there was an acceleration in the increase in emergency department visits for bronchiolitis. Regarding clinical influenza, the number of emergency department visits remains low, similar to that observed during the same period in previous years. Surveillance of severe influenza cases by intensive care units resumed on November 1. In addition, for children under 15 years of age, there has been an increase in emergency department visits for ENT conditions, acute bronchitis, and pneumonia. Finally, there has been a significant decrease in activity among children aged 2 to under 15 years of age due to school holidays.
