  • Nationwide, the end of the 2012–2013 flu season is confirmed, although influenza viruses continue to circulate and may cause sporadic cases.

  • The decline in influenza-related activity in the region’s emergency departments continues, with the peak in emergency room visits having been reached in week 7.

  • Following a sharp decline, the number of influenza and influenza-like illness diagnoses reported by the SOS Médecins association in Meurthe-et-Moselle has stabilized at a low level over the past three weeks.

  • The number of diagnoses of gastroenteritis and diarrhea made by the SOS Médecins association in Meurthe-et-Moselle has been stable for four weeks.

  • Nationally, the CNR observed a resurgence of rotavirus infections in week 13.
