According to data from the Unified Influenza Network, the decline in the incidence rate of influenza continues in France. This decrease is also being observed in the Alsace region.
The number of influenza and influenza-like illness diagnoses made by the region’s two SOS Médecins associations has been falling sharply for several weeks.
Influenza viruses continue to circulate. The national influenza epidemic threshold has now been exceeded for 11 consecutive weeks.
According to data from the hospital laboratory network (Renal) and samples collected by doctors in the GROG Network, influenza viruses of types A(H1N1) pdm09, A(H3N2), and B continue to co-circulate.
