Epidemiological Surveillance in the Alsace Region. Update as of July 18, 2013.
Key Developments
Over the past two weeks, a notable increase—though within the expected range given the high temperatures—in the number of diagnoses of heat-related illnesses has been observed by the two SOS Médecins associations in the region.
According to the National Aerobiological Surveillance Network (RNSA), the two departments in the Alsace region are currently at moderate allergy risk, with grass pollen still being detected in Strasbourg.
