Epidemiological Update as of December 10, 2021

Since October 1, 2021, 12 cases of acute respiratory infection (ARI) have been reported to the ARS Centre-Val de Loire, 6 in Indre, 2 in Cher and Indre-et-Loire, and 1 in Eure-et-Loir and Loir-et-Cher. Among these, one outbreak was subject to an etiological investigation, and no cause was identified. To date, 10 outbreaks have been closed, during which a total of 164 residents were infected, representing an average attack rate of 20.0%, as well as 14 staff members. These outbreaks resulted in 6 hospitalizations (3.7%) and 1 death (0.6%).
